It's a cold and dreary world
Well - it's very very grey outside. And it was really dumping the little mean rain drops, not the big fat juicy ones. That was upon waking up. And my poor kids had to go wait for the bus in it. I'm really glad I got the smiley face umbrella for them. We're not used to the rain here... I could use some blue skies.
It's been forever since I've written. The usual mundane business. Plus it doesn't help to depend on your cookies for your user name... cause eventually it gets erased and then you can't remember it! We had a system switch-over and I remembered most of my user names. And then I just had to find where I wrote it down.
We did have blue skies yesterday when we came out from having done Baptisms for the Dead. I took photos of the kids who were there for the first time. I was really happy to have one of girls who was there for the first time at age 14. She's had a rough few years with her parents divorcing and custody battles and dad's remarriage and becoming inactive. That's a really sad deal. Charlie enjoyed himself, I think. He kept making cracks about what if you actually had to have the dead person's body to baptise them... pretty gross thought! And he really really does not like the white briefs the boys have to wear...he's a Boxer Boy. I remember them being uncomfortable going to boxers - I don't remember why I did it? I think they wanted to?
OK - weird. From weather to briefs. I guess that's my life right now. It's all good though. I know the sun will appear again.
(I'm overhearing a conversation where I know one person is not taking the comments positively and the other doesn't quite get it. And there's nothing I can do about it. Oh, well - we'll all live through it. Takes a lot of tolerance to deal well with this world.)
K. I'm alive. Hope my head's attached enough to remember the orthodontist apt for today. Even wrote myself a note and set an alarm. Yup - I've forgotten it too many times.
I go work.
Ciao.

good to hear from you here again. If you don't like rain make sure you don't move to NC. We get these long, dreary, grey cold winter rains. Then the rest of the year we get amazing whooshing, violent thundrstorms which would be cool to watch if there weren't so many trees in the way. You can't see them coming up on you but the way the wind howls through the trees all of the sudden is pretty intense.

Did the St. George girl say it was cold!!?? I don't want to hear it.
I like mundane posts. Thats how life is. The most exciting, important, people still spend most of their time doing boring things none of would really be interested in. Except me of course. I'm very exciting... I talk about mop buckets for a living.
